Treats: Skin discoloration. Rough texture. Wrinkles. Stretch marks.
Facial peels are a popular treatment to improve wrinkles, skin discolorations, and a dull complexion. TCA, or trichloroacetic acid, is one of the most widely-used peeling agents for skin rejuvenation. However, it does require downtime with visible signs of redness and peeling for a few days and up to a week following the treatment.
PRX –T33 is a new generation TCA peel. It acts as a biostimulator, penetrating deep into the skin without damaging the outer surface. Also referred to as the “no peel’ peel, you won’t experience the peeling, crusting, and downtime associated with other TCA peels. The effectiveness of this proprietary peel has been proven in 10 years of clinical studies.
What does the PRX-T33 treat?
- Sagging skin
- Age spots
- Uneven skin texture
- Acne scars
- Stretch marks
Stimulates fibroblast growth in the skin for collagen regeneration. It has an anti-inflammatory effect, destroying bacteria and increasing the elasticity of the skin.
Acts as an antiseptic to deeply cleanse the skin of contaminants. In addition, hydrogen peroxide fills skin cells with pure oxygen which increases the sensitivity of receptors.
The chemical composition of this acid suppresses the production of melanin and brightens the skin.
How does PRX-T33 work?
Hydrogen peroxide helps stimulate collagen receptors. When applied to your skin, TCA helps deliver the hydrogen peroxide to layers underneath the surface of your skin where it initiates collagen and cellular regeneration. Think of it as working from the inside out, stimulating the tissues deep in the lower layers of the skin without causing abrasions to the surface. An immediate tightening is seen after treatment with the added benefit of long-term tightening and lifting as the collagen cells are stimulated. The result is firm, taut, and healthy-looking skin.
What areas are best suited for PRX-T33?
This peel can be used on your face, neck, and chest. It’s great for aging hands and the sagging, wrinkled skin above the breasts. Stretch marks and scars also respond well to this treatment.
Is there a best time to do this peel?
This peel does not cause sensitivity to the sun, so you can do it any time of year and won’t have to worry about sun exposure.
How many treatments will I need?
Each treatment builds on the last. Depending on the treatment area and desired results, 3 – 5 treatments are recommended.
